The Ossie shoe was designed by Manolo Blahnik. The above sketch is for one of the fanciful shoes that accompanied Ossie Clsrks 1972 couture collection. British Vogue editor Alexandra Shulman was a big fan of Manolos shoes and once said ' If God had wanted us to wear flat shoes, he wouldn't have invented Manolo Blahnik.' These shoes also became coveted favourites of Carrie Bradshaw in Sex in the City. I don't own a pair but rumour has it that they are not the most comfortably shoes to wear ??
